This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) governs the information provided to Integrated Comprehensive Systems (ICS) for Equity, LLC and its related Websites and explains how ICS may collect, use and in some instances share this information.

Agreement to Privacy Policy

Your use and access to ICS is subject to your agreement with the below policy, along with the ICS Terms of Service. By using or accessing ICS, you expressly agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection and use of information as discussed in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the below Policy, please do not use or access to ICS and if you are a survey respondent, please contact your administrator. Please print a copy of this Privacy Policy for your records.

Modifications to Privacy Policy

ICS may revise this Policy regarding the collection of information at any time. Should any new policy take effect, ICS will give notice to you and all users by posting a notice on this Website regarding the new policy prior to their effective date, and the new policy will apply only to information collected thereafter. By accessing or using ICS or this Website after such changes are posted and implemented you agree and consent to all such changes.

Notice of Information Collected

We may collect two primary types of information: information that personally identifies you and information that does not personally identify you.

Personally Identifiable Information

You are not required to provide personally identifiable information to visit this Website. However, if you choose to access to or use ICS, you will be required to submit certain personally identifiable information in order to purchase, access, or use ICS on behalf of the school or district that you represent.

Personally identifiable information is collected from you directly and with your knowledge during the purchase and registration as well as the survey response process. We will collect personally identifiable information that you provide to us, such as your name, address, e-mail address, and phone number and payment information (if applicable).

Non-personally Identifiable Information

We may also collect non-personally identifiable information, which is automatically collected by ICS or our third party vendor during your registration or use of ICS. We may collect such information by tracking, or asking our third party vendor to track, your click-stream activity or through the use of “cookie” technology or by tracking internet protocol (IP) addresses, as explained below.

Cookies

We may use cookies to track the use of our Website or ICS and to facilitate and enhance your experience on our Website or ICS. “Cookies” are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. Our cookies enable us to facilitate access to different aspects of our Website. For example, by showing when and how you and others visit our Website, cookies help us to see which pages of the website are popular and which are not. Cookies can also help us to improve your use of this Website, for example, by remembering your address or other personal information when you request information or services on the website.

These cookies can be removed, but each web browser is a little different, so please look through your browser “Help” file to learn the correct way to modify your cookies set-up. Please note that disabling cookies may prevent you from accessing some of the functionality and site offerings available via this Website and may be restricted by your administrators.

IP Addresses

We may also log and track IP addresses for systems administration purposes and for reporting usage trends. Your IP address is usually associated with the physical place from which you enter the Internet. By collecting you IP address, we may record the page that linked you to this Website and other information about the type of web browser, computer, platform and settings you are using. IP addresses are not used to track an individual user’s session or location.

Although we do not collect personal information automatically as noted above, we may combine non-personal information collected automatically (such as through IP addresses, cookies or click-stream monitoring) with any previously submitted personal information that we may have received from you.

Analytics

We may also use various third party internet vendors, such as Google Analytics, to collect, track and analyze analytical data regarding this Website usage and trends. Some of this monitoring requires use of a single first-party cookie containing an anonymous identifier used to distinguish users. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can disable this function so that your browser will not accept cookies, as set forth above.

Submitted Responses

Responses for worksheets, forms, or other content submitted by you about your educational entity, such as a school or district (“Submitted Responses”) will be stored so you can save your Submitted Responses and continue for later use. You will be able to print your Submitted Responses. ICS will not copy, modify, distribute, publish or otherwise use your Submitted Responses for any purpose other than supporting your use of ICS and the Website.

ICS maintains full rights to any information collected, and may freely collect, use and disclose such information unless expressly prohibited by this Privacy Policy or applicable law. ICS may transfer ownership of such information in the event of a reorganization, sale of substantially all its assets related to the Website, merger or other corporate acquisition or event.

We use recognized industry safeguards, including Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, to help protect personally identifiable information from unauthorized access or use. If you are required to transmit sensitive information (such as credit card information) to us, we will provide you access to our secure server that allows encryption of your data as it is transmitted to us. We will help protect personally identifiable information stored on our servers from unauthorized access using commercially available computer security products (such as firewalls and encryption), as well as carefully developed security procedures and practices.
