School Board members in partnership districts are invited to attend the ICS Overview and ICS Institute Part I. We also provide the ICS School Board Academy. The purpose of the ICS School Board Academy is to:
1. Learn about the school district’s equity efforts via the ICS Framework and Process.
2. Learn about the School Board’s support and accountability role.
3. Learn how the ICS Framework and Process can inform board decision-making, analysis of current district policies, and policy-making.
These sessions with the board have been extremely helpful, not only in building the board’s knowledge of equity, but it is helping us gel as a team.
